The Alhambra Scholarship supports educators and students committed to the field of special education. This award assists those training to teach individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. Recipients are selected based on their clear dedication to this specialized area of teaching.
Eligibility Requirements:
Master’s Degree Students: Applicants must specialize in special education and have completed at least 50% of their required graduation credits.
University Juniors and Seniors: Applicants must be enrolled in a qualifying program and actively pursuing a career in special education.
Community College Students: Applicants must have completed 50% of their required credits and be focused on special education studies.
This scholarship is open to all residents of the United States and Canada.
All applications must be signed by a Caravan Grand Commander and received at the Baltimore office no later than May 31. Timeline and Funding: Scholarship recipients will be announced on or before June 30. Each region is allocated $2,000 per fiscal year.
