![]() Rev. Edwin Dill, S.T.
The Reverend Edwin Dill, S.T. is a Past Chaplain of Porto Caravan, and the current Supreme Chaplain of the International Order of Alhambra.
Fr. Dill was born in Buffalo, NY on August 17, 1932. His pre-seminary education was in Buffalo, NY and his religious education was at Seminaries in Alabama, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, and lastly at the Holy Trinity Mission Seminary in Winchester, VA. He was ordained to the Priesthood on May 19, 1959, at the Sacred Heart Church in Winchester, VA. Fr. Dill has held many important posts for the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, including Superior General from 1987-1991. Presently he is the Director of Office of Communications at the headquarters of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity in Silver Spring, Maryland. In January 2000, Fr. Dill returned to the post of Chaplain of Porto Caravan, a familiar assignment for him as he served previously as Porto's Chaplain for 15 years, from 1977 until 1992. Porto continues to be blessed with dedicated Chaplains who provide outstanding spiritual guidance to our caravan members for the benefit of those they serve. |

Porto Caravan welcomes Leo Alonso to its highest leadership position. Leo became a member of Porto Caravan in October 2002. His leadership ability, enthusiasm and dedication to the principles of Alhambra made him a clear choice to lead Porto Caravan as Grand Commander for two previous years (2004-2006) and again for the 2007-2008 term. Leo and his Sultana Betty have been in the forefront of promoting Paul VI Catholic High School's "Options Program," and the George Mason University LIFE (Learning Into Future Environments.) Their special child Vivian is a graduate of the Options Program and a wonderful example of its value and importance in experiencing learning to the maximum achievement level in a Catholic school environment. Vivian now is a student in the GMU LIFE program. Leo is passionate about applying the Alhambra purposes and principles throughout our area, and places membership growth and membership enthusiasm and action at the top of his goals. Also, Leo serves the Alhambra organization as the Chairman of the Alhambra House Project Committee.
