FUND RAISING
Porto Caravan conducts two major fund raising events. The first of these is the Church Collection program. The other is an Annual Golf Tournament. Funds collected by these events are used to support programs for the International Order of Alhambra, Caravan administration and donations to local charities.
Church Collections
With endorsement of the Bishop of Arlington and approval of Pastors, an annual collection is made at parishes in Northern Virginia, for the "Special Kids-Special Needs" program. Most of these collections are conducted in the spring and summer months on dates approved by Pastors. These funds are donated to Paul VI Catholic High School Options program, the diocese sponsored "Keyboard for Kids" program and other local charities, notably:

Annual Golf Tournament
The First Annual Porto 104 Charity Golf Outing was held on October 17, 2008 at the Regency at Dominion Valley Country Club in Haymarket, Virginia. It was a great success. Porto raised $7,420.00, which were used to support our various charities. The Second Annual Charity Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2009.
